Faith To Believe

One thing I’m learning is that faith isn’t just believing what GOD can do, but it’s also believing what He said about me! It’s choosing to believe that I AM fearfully and wonderfully made even when I don’t feel like it. It’s choosing to believe that I AM set free and delivered even when my past try to convince me otherwise. It’s choosing to believe that I AM loved, and that I AM forgiven even when shame and guilt comes knocking at my door. It’s choosing to believe that I’ve been made whole even in those moments when I feel the most broken.

I please GOD not by only believing in the things He can do, but by also believing in what He said about me.

I think about all those times when I struggled to just believe. Those times when I would settle for less than I deserve because I struggled to believe. Those times when I had so much to say but kept quiet because I struggled to believe. Those times when I refused to accept the call of God on my life because I struggled to believe what He said about me.

Its at the very moment that we choose to believe that we open ourselves up to a whole new world of possibilities! We become fearless. We become bold. We become courageous. We begin to do things we were too afraid to do before. We begin to speak things we were too afraid to speak before.

It’s at this very moment that we begin to walk in purpose and who we were created to be.

This is the moment that we come into agreement with what God said about us.

So ladies, what are you choosing to believe today? Are you choosing to believe your fears and insecurities or are you choosing to believe what GOD said about you?

  1. Your blog was truly inspiring! My first post after taking a long break from blogging was about walking in my calling and reading your post was confirmation! Thank you so much for sharing what God gave you!

  2. I LOVE this! I have worked with youth in the past and one way I encourage them is to remember that our identity does not lie in who we THINK we are. Our identity does not lie in who others think we are. Our identity does not lie in who we think others think we are! Our identity is in who God SAYS we are!
