Can Any Good Come Out Of This?

Hey everyone! Happy Wednesday!😊

I pray that you all are doing well in spite of every thing else going on.

Today, I’m grateful for this reminder! I’m grateful that even in the middle of a crisis we can STILL be filled with peace and joy because even THIS is working together for our good! We may not know how, we may not even know when but we can rest in that soon IT HAS TO!

I can remember years ago being in my own personal crisis. I was depressed, filled with anxiety, and struggling to find a reason to live. In my mind there was no way I was going to overcome that time of darkness, there was no way I was going to make it out of that alive, and there was no way that anything good was going to come out of that. I mean how could something so dark and so difficult hold anything good in it anyways?

I can imagine that that’s what those who had to watch Jesus endure such a tragic death thought. As they watched Jesus be beaten and ridiculed I can imagine they must have thought that the cross was the end of the story. They must have thought that there was no way Jesus was going to overcome that. They must have thought that there was no way that anything good could come out of such a tragedy.

But what they didn’t know was that God would work even death together for their good. They didn’t know that the death of Jesus would ultimately save them. They didn’t know that this tragedy would reconcile them back to God. They didn’t know that what looked like a tragedy, what looked like a crisis, would turn around for their good!

Tonight, lets rest in this! Lets rest in that IT WILL and IT HAS to work together for our good…even if it doesn’t look or feel like it right now! 💜

I pray that this encouraged you tonight and that it gives you the peace that you’re longing for.

Do you know someone who could use this encouragement tonight? SHARE THIS WITH THEM! Lets continue to uplift and encourage one another during these trying times!
